“Mambo, Huncho”, así comienza ‘Future’, la nueva canción liberada de ‘Madame X’ que además será interpretada por Madonna junto a Quavo en Eurovisión. El tema es una producción de Diplo (del Diplo de las trompetas y Jamaica) y en las primeras escuchas se hace un poco desconcertante.
Lo primero que viene a la mente es: ¿de verdad va a cantar esta canción en Eurovisión teniendo todas las que tiene, incluso del nuevo disco? Es una elección rara por estilo aunque es cierto que la letra es muy potente y sugerente. ¿Conseguirá Madonna que ‘Future’ sea un himno político? Seguramente no pero al cantarla en un certamen como Eurovisión parece que por lo menos ella cree que sí y lo va a intentar.No se entiende muy bien la inclusión de Quavo que a nuestro parecer no aporta mucho. Swae Lee le aporta calidez y sello a ‘Crave’ pero ¿Quavo? Solo aporta el nombre pero vamos, tampoco es que sea Beyoncé.
Teniendo en cuenta de que la letra dice “crucifixion on a cross” nos podríamos hacer una idea de por qué Madonna la quiere cantar este sábado:
